These two photos were taken in March of 2001. This was the only investigation I had ever been on where I felt something truly scary/evil.

The house itself was relatively new at the time. 15 years old to be exact. No one had ever died there and there was no previous houses on the property. A search of town records indicated that there was a cemetery approximately 1/2 mile up the road which was moved prior to the development being built.

These photos were taken during my initial walk around of the outside of a home while other members of my team interviewed the occupants. I personally never attend occupant interviews since I prefer to enter an investigation blind, so to speak.

Without delving into all of the details of the haunting, these pictures coincided with the area of the house that the occupants informed us was the center of the activity and where I and members of my team had our experiences that evening.

Temperature that day was 62F. There was a very light rain and I am experienced enough not breathe just prior to taking a picture. The pictures were taken with approxmately a 10 second delay between them. Nothing was visible to the naked eye at the time.

I was alone outside and smoking isn't an option during an investigation. At least none that I am on.

Once we were out of the house, all dread melted away. The photo confirmed everything about the haunting that the occupants had relayed to my other team members.

In common with the smoking thought, I guess it's best to run through the other usuals.
Due to the seeming proximity of the white area, could that be a sleeve of a wollen type coat ?
The misty rain might unfortunately be a factor for the orb shapes.
And the last one, flash seems to make huge bright reflections from the smallest things (I noted the glare in the window)..were any pics taken that night without flash and was anything noted in them?

Other than that, excellent pics and good confirmation to the house owners.

Hi Slider,

The "Orbs" are without a doubt rain drops. I don't put any faith in "Orbs" anyway. (No offense to orb followers)

My focus is on the "Mist".

As I look at the picture, I personally notice how the "Mist" has remained in the same postion in relation to the house even though I moved to change the angle of the picture I was taking (Take note of the window with the security lights above it). Also, how its apparent shape stays relatively the same.

These factors alone are what triggered my interest in these two photos. I find it highly improbable that breath, cigarette smoke, fog etc... would hold position over the duration of the two photos. Thereby affirming that whatever caused this "Mist" was stationary.

Good point, the shaping is very similar on both photo's, especially around the security lights.
