How to Have an OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCE!

I had a OBE once when I was 21 years old and when I began to float out of my body the first thing I saw was what appeared to be the grim reaper,Ill admit it scared me so I have been reluctant to do it again,but I think I am willing to try again!I will let you know what happens!
BUT REMEMBER YOU MUST LEARN THE STEP OF RELAXATION!!!
the easiest way I find is to close your eyes while laying down and think of every part of your body ie...your pinky toe then imagine you relaxing it until it feels like its relaxed then move onto the next toe continue this until your whole body is done,this can take some time so make sure that you will not be disturbed when ready you will feel your body lift off your bed like you are as light as a feather very intense feeling!so good luck!

This is another one i've been lucky enough to experience.
Happened about the same time as when I was able to see aura's.
It was about 1999 and during my divorce. My bro Ben had let me stay at his place while I got sorted out with somewhere proper to stay. Ben had internet on his computer, the first time i'd seen online pages and so I started to look up para stuff and weird things...as yer do lol
In with all that was OOBE related information, because of something my mum once said. She said she used to be able to have an OOBE at will...to the point she could be sat in a moving car and then project outside of herself and the car and watch herself from sitting on the car hood !!

After a few attempts of the relaxing process I wasn't getting anywhere. I was also getting no sleep, with various worries about having no transport to see my kids, cash, housing etc. As I lay on my bed one evening, totally exhausted I tried the process again. This time I was suddenly aware that I was sitting bolt upright. I looked around the room thinking I had been asleep and not known it, cos I was wide awake and not tired at all.
Being a glasses wearer, all seemed amiss somehow, this was the clearest my eyes had been for a long time.
As I looked around I went to do the normal glasses 'hitch' onto the nose as glasses wearers do and at the same time as this saw my glasses next to the bed !
As my fingers went to my nose they went right through it !
With a rush of wind in my ears, probably because of this weird realisation, I was back laying down and my eyes were closed.
I opened my eyes and reached for my glasses, with the strangest of thoughts that yep, indeed, I must have had an OOBE !

yes you most certainly did,what you had was an astral projection where you are able to move about feel,see,smell ect...wow thanks for sharing that,I havent been able to go that far yet,i have just done the floating up thing and thats about it,very intense sliderCOOL!!

My pleasure, if i've had something happen and others can gain from it then that's cool Smile

I think the most impressive thing from that experience was that it wasn't a scary event, wasn't overly different to being awake. Vision was sharper than ever though and the wind type ear noise was a bit unsettling. It could be termed dull, in terms of a weird event, but to me that makes it all the more remarkable. No flashes of light, eerie voices or anything lol

That posting wasnt there before was it?because I read it last year and I didnt think it was that long!But wow I read the whole thing and the things you have seen throughout your life is simalar to myself in ways and julie as well,I am not a sceptic at all,I beleive 100%,I have seen,felt and heard these spirits,I feel them in my heart and in my mind! I know that they are around,I cant explain it any more than thatWell slider if you get any more strange things happen to you pleasae let us know!oh and that goes for julie too Dwarf

Hey guys I think I may have done it!!!I was doing an Out of Body the other night when I think I manifested myself into the other room and my daughter saw me,how cool is that???well the night I was doing it my 16 year old saw an apparition of something in the doorway to her bedroom,she said it was a bright white light and it was hovering 3 feet off the ground with its arms spread and there were shadows under the arms and chin of this light,now im thinking it was me because that very night when I was doing my OOBE I was meditating on the idea of a white light swirling around me,now I was doing this for about 2 hours just thinking and thinking,and she was fully awake she was online talking with her friends and I have no doubt she saw something im just wondering if it was me perhaps,any Ideas or has this happened to anyone else before?
